Position Overview:
As a Plumbing Assistant, your primary role will be to support the plumber in various tasks, including helping to install pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems. You will also be responsible for maintaining tools, assisting with repairs, and ensuring work areas are clean and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Help with repairs and maintenance of existing plumbing systems.
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment needed for plumbing tasks.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe during and after work.
- Follow instructions from the lead plumber to complete tasks effectively and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Some prior experience in plumbing or willingness to learn and assist in plumbing tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.
- Must be physically capable of lifting materials, working in various environments, and handling tools.
